Coppertone Clearly Sheer Review

*The following product was given to me by BzzAgent for free. They also supplied me with coupons. This product review is completely my personal opinion and I was not compensated to give a positive review.

Thanks to BzzAgent I recently started trying out Coppertone Clearly Sheer. First off I can't believe how many varieties it comes in. As you can see below I got two bottles of spray, three great small travel size bottles and one huge bottle to keep at home to try. I also got a few coupons to give away to my friends.

I can't even begin to tell you how great this sunscreen made my skin feel. It is true to its name Clearly Sheer. It goes on sheer and no one can see streaks that most sunscreens can cause because it absorbs so quick. It made my skin feel soft and smooth. I have super dry skin so this is very important.

I love that it is not oily at all! I hate oily sunscreens because they make you feel so yucky! Am I right?!?! I have really sensitive skin so most products tend to break me out. It is clinically tested on acne-prone skin so you don't have to worry about breakouts using this product. It also is great to use under makeup because of its matte finish. I know this is a major plus for most ladies. Streaks from sunscreen combined with make up are annoying and messy.

While I like the feel of the sunscreens they aren't very ideal for Louisiana weather. In Louisiana it gets very hot and so you would need a stronger spf for those really hot days. I would however recommend to use it if you aren't going to be out long. I think when you are out shopping it would be ideal since you are in and out buildings then using this product under your make up would probably be fine. I think with this heat you would rather have something stronger for days spent mostly outside swimming or playing ball.

Overall I would give this product a B-. Most northern states could use this product with great ease. If you live in the south then I might would try to use something stronger.

One Busy Mommy

I have been a lot busier than I anticipated these past few days! I have had two doctors appointments, all-star tryouts, a dance recital, all-star softball practice, and all the other daily chores needing to be done! I'm one tired mommy!!! I still have so much more to prepare for like the softball team's end of the season party, make the cake for the party, more softball practice and the actual all-stars tournament! I will get back to my blog as soon as I can. I have a few more reviews coming up that I'm finishing, freebies I found, ways for you to earn freebies and much more.

Stay tuned!

Mary Kay Review

Recently I received a wonderful little box* in the mail. Inside was tons of Mary Kay products for me to try out. Thankfully for me I was needing some new makeup for my daughter's upcoming dance recital. She had pictures the weekend it came in so she was the perfect person to test along with me. I thought I would give you all a little review of what I tried and what I thought the products.

Included in this cute box was the following Mary Kay products: Lash Love Mascara in I <3 Black, cream eye color in Apricot Twist, mineral cheek color in Shy Blush, translucent loose powder, gel eyeliner with expandable brush applicator in Jet Black, bronzing powder, NouriShine Plus lip gloss in Mango Tango, cream eye color brush and concealer brush.

First I will start with what I loved, then what I didn't love and what was just okay. First up, the eyeliner...I loved it! Probably the best I have ever used. It goes on so smooth, it doesn't smudge during the day and it made mine and my daughter's eyes pop! This product has me definitely wanting to keep buying. The concealer and eye color brushes were great. They rate right up there with some of the best and I have went through a lot of brushes in my day. I really liked the bronzing powder. I would rank it right up there with my go to which is made by Clinique. It was a beautiful color and added just the right amount of pop needed to give that sunny glow.

I didn't care for the mineral cheek color. I am not much on blush because of my skin coloring so it wasn't their fault. I also didn't like the cream eye color. To me creamy eye colors don't last that long and tend to smudge. The mascara was pretty, but like the eye color it smudged way too much for my liking. A single tear made the entire thing run down your face. I had to redo my daughter's make up three times because of this. It was really frustrating.

The translucent loose powder was nice, but not something I would use very often. I like a glowing look, but it does the job on days you want to take the extra shine out. The lip gloss was nice, but the color just wasn't my taste. I don't care to wear orange colored make up. I feel like it is more a fall color.

Overall I would say Mary Kay made an impression on me. I would definitely check out their lip glosses in other colors, buy their brush applicators and pick up some more mascara. I would say this box deserve a grade of B-.
